Q : Where does the Jenggala name come from ?
A : Jenggala was a dynasty/kingdom that existed before the time of the Majapahit, that moved to Bali from Java. This Hindu kingdom was well known for its art
     
Q : What is the symbol "Cilli" based on ?
A : The "Cili" symbol is based on the Balinese goddess, Dewi Sri; The Goddess of Prosperity/Fertility
     
Q : Where does Jenggala export its products ?
A : Our products are regularly exported from time to time to many countries, such as Holland, France, Germany, America, Dubai, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Maldives, Taiwan and many others
     
Q : Criteria as wholesaler ?
A : - Minimum quantity order? 100 pieces per item
- What about a new design? New designs that require a new production mold have a minimum order of 100pcs. The mold remains the property of Jenggala and the development costs are figured into the price of the product

Q : What is the best gift that you can get for your friends, clients etc.?
A : Jenggala provides "GIFT VOUCHER". With the gift voucher, your friends can choose the items they wish to have.
Gift Vouchers are also available for:
- Paint A Pot and
- Make A Pot program.
Gift Voucher validity is for 6 months from the date purchased
     
PACKING and SHIPPING COST
Q : Does Jenggala offer packing and shipping ?
A :

Yes, packing cost is US$ 10 per box and shipping cost is based on shipping method and destination. The packing and shipping are only available at Jenggala Showroom in Jimbaran; not available at Sunset Store.
Jenggala also provides Free Check-in Boxes. These are 5 ply card boxes. When packing it, we use Styrofoam on all sides. These boxes are safe for check - in. The small carton box can also be hand-carried

     
Q : How does Jenggala do the packing with wooden boxes ?
A : - Each item is wrapped in recycled paper and packed with shredded paper in reinforced wooden box

PRODUCTION/PRODUCT
Q : Where is the factory ?
A : The factory is located behind the Retail Showroom, Jimbaran
     
Q : What is the process of the ceramic making ?
A : - Ceramic shape is made by hand, press machine, casting, roller head machine and pressure casting machine, which will then be hand finished and decorated.
- The ceramic shape is then cleaned and decorated
- Bisque Firing
- Glazing
- High Firing is the final stage of production
     
Q : How long is the production time ?
A : - Usually it takes about 8-10 weeks to complete an order from the date of deposit payment. Depending on the item, but some sample pieces can be made and glazed within 2 weeks
     
Q : What is it made of ?
A : - Made of mainly refined clay, feldspar, silica and a few natural materials
     
Q : Do we have ready materials (Clay and glaze) or make it on our own? Where is the clay from ?
A : - We make our own clay and glaze in-house
- Mostly imported from Australia, Canada, England, USA and Thailand
     
Q : Are Jenggala products safe ?
A : Yes - All our products have been tested. They are non-toxic and food safe. We have tested many glazes and they are not poisonous. The products are safe from the elements of Cadmium and Lead releasing from the glaze finish
     
Q : Are Jenggala products Microwave, Oven and Dishwasher safe ?
A : Jenggala's ceramic and porcelain products are Dishwasher and Microwave safe. These products should be safe in the oven as long as the item is heated up slowly and the heat is even. The products definitely cannot be put on direct heat (like a stove).
